Last Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting the Marino Family. They have found the Sunriver and more specifically, the Caldera Springs area, to be a great place to take a vacation. As with many busy families, they find it hard to set aside time from their busy daily schedule to have family portraits taken. Lara came up with a great plan to solve this problem.
Lara decided to start having portraits taken while they are on vacation. Since her family was so busy with their daily routine Lara came up with this alternative. This way they can easily set aside an hour or so of their vacation, they are relaxed before the photo session and they can enjoy having their portraits taken. It seems like the perfect plan and more people should consider this alternative.
Lara’s plan strikes me as a great idea on a couple of different levels. First, the any family can surely set aside an hour or so out of their vacation to get their portraits taken. Secondly, they not only get portraits, but they get portraits that are reminders of their vacation. How cool is that? I thought it was brilliant and wanted to share this with other families that may have the same difficulty finding the time to get portraits taken.
I want to thank Lara for sharing her idea with me so that I was able to share it with you. I also wanted to thank Lara for making me part of this plan and I hope I will see them again next year. It would be such an honor to become part of her family tradition. Thanks Lara.
